Delivery Agent and Twentieth Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising, in conjunction with the FoxShop.com Online Store, kicks off a live "HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER SeenON! Britney Spears" online auction of selected items worn by Britney Spears in the Ten Sessions episode, produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television and premiering on the CBS Television Network Monday, March 24th (8:30-9:00 PM, ET).
The auction will be live for bidding Monday, March 24th (9:00 PM ET) through Monday, March 31st (3:00 PM ET) on SeenON.com. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) - www.itsyournature.org. The NRDC was chosen due to News Corp.'s (the parent company of show producer 20th Century Fox Television) global energy initiative, in which the company is taking its worldwide operations carbon neutral by 2010. The online auction will be powered by Delivery Agent, the leader in shopping-enabled entertainment for television shows, motion pictures, sports and music videos.
Six items worn by Spears in her episode of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER are up for auction, including a navy print Juicy Couture silk crème dress, a yellow Nanette Lepore dress and Nanette Lepore cardigan with cream and blue flowers.
In Spears' episode of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, Ted (series star Josh Radnor), in his passionate quest to find the woman who will one day be his wife, pursues his dermatologist. However, her office receptionist Abby, played by Spears, becomes quite smitten with Ted herself.
